We strive to fulfill our social duties and create a world in which everyone can live in perfect harmony.
LS Mtron has been developing and operating a number of volunteer programs to enable employees to voluntarily fulfill their social responsibilities.
Happy Global Volunteers
‘We send hope and love around the world.’ Our employees visit remote regions of Vietnam to teach them Korean language, art, music and more, and provide services including wall drawing and painting, as well as supplying educational materials, which help kids learn in improved education environments.
In addition, LS Mtron provides financial supports for students in China and doing the best to fulfill its responsibilities as a global citizen company.
Hope Seed School
‘We build dreams for children in need.’Our employees become everyday teachers at a local children’s center to provide education for kids who fall through the cracks in the public welfare system. Through one-on-one mentoring, science experiments, art and physical education, etc., we help the children grow to become bright and positive individuals.
Volunteers for Loving the rural community
‘Revitalizing aging rural communities.’Groups in low-income rural villages, such as the elderly who live alone and the underprivileged, are social issues we are striving to solve. Some of the projects we carry out include helping these groups with farm work, improving their living environments, offering free makeovers, taking longevity photos, putting on cultural performances, and serving meals. In conjunction with the tractor business of LS Mtron, we provide free inspection services for agricultural machines that are difficult for the elderly to manage.
LS Mtron Volunteers
‘We lend a helping hand together with our colleagues.’We provide voluntary charity work through informal services at each of our business sites. We regularly visit senior centers in nearby areas to provide caregiving services, center repairs, etc.
Local community welfare business
‘We share warmth with our local community.’Executives and employees raise “Ussuri” funds to help the socially vulnerable. In the winter, they all participate in making kimchi and distribute it to the nearby welfare centers for the disabled, helping local citizens stay warm throughout the tough winter season.
